Cloudtalk partnered with Techband to expand its tech team and find suitable tech talent in a cost-effective and timely manner.
CloudTalk offers world-class cloud call center software for sales or customer support teams. Because of the high demand for remote-ready communication software during covid-19, CloudTalk has grown significantly. They have expanded to over 80 new markets, hired more than 200 employees and acquired over 2500 customers.
As CloudTalk was moving upmarket and has grown 300% over the past years, it was necessary to expand the tech team. The competition for experienced developers in Europe made hiring difficult in terms of cost and time investment.
For this reason, CloudTalk has begun considering its options. At first, they decided to use the services of the software house, but they were not satisfied with the output.
Consequently, they decided to search for an IT outsourcing company to help them find the right tech talent to expand their internal tech team.,
With Techband’s extensive network (1000+ programmers), CloudTalk was able to easily connect with many high-quality candidates in days, and they managed to hire 25% of them.
Techband helped CloudTalk hire for various positions, such as full-stack software engineers, JavaScript (Angular, Node.js, React Native) developers, and PHP engineers. Techband has been backing CloudTalk since its initial investment in 2019. Since then, the tech team has grown from 10 to 70 employees.
CloudTalk has been able to expand its engineering team with the help of Techband, who have provided 6 highly skilled developers that have worked alongside CloudTalk’s in-house team to optimize the existing desktop app and develop the new mobile app & new features.
Notably, 2 developers from Techband (first hires) have taken on key leadership roles on CloudTalk’s engineering team, demonstrating the value of the partnership between the two companies.
